Rape Bad
You go to jail for rape. You can also lose everything you own: A 23 year old woman pursued damages against a man she claimed sexually assaulted her. The defendant denied all the allegations against him and argued that his sexual contact with plaintiff was consensual. A Kalamazoo County jury awarded plaintiff $3,700,000 for sexual assault and battery and intentional infliction of emotional distress.
And such damages are not dischargable in bankruptcy.
